Overall, I think the process was beneficial for all parties as there were a lot of interviews so you meet all of the people who work on the team which is good
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Jul 2021
Interview
2 rounds with hiring manager/ management and one panel round.
I was ghosted after going through an 8 person 4.5 hour interview. Still astonishing to me how rude their recruiting team is.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2021
Interview
A call with the hiring manager then another call with the recruiter then 4 interview rounds for 45 minutes each. The whole process took a month but the experience was quite bad as I had to chase for the video links many times. HR seems like they don’t know what they are doing.
During the video interview the hiring manager did not even smile, I felt like I was interviewing a robot. He wanted to cut the interview short for 20 minutes and I had to keep asking questions. I asked about culture and process to improve things when stuff goes wrong then their reply was nothing ever goes wrong. They only wanted to see if I am comfortable having no social life and available to work till 10 pm at night on some days.
I asked about the last fun event they did , they took a while trying to remember it. Says it all really.
This is a company for people who are ok with having no social skills and no social life. If this is you then go for it.
Before I even hear about any offer or not I chose to withdraw my application.
