an hr person called me. it was nice, a quick one! only 15mn I think. the lady had a nice British accent. I thought they may use the HR in NY to call me but they Called me from Britain
anyway she asked me about my understanding of the position, I told her what I thought it was. Then the question was about my professional experience, what I learned and what 2 main skills I can use for the Job. My answer was how to analyze an issue or Raw data and synthesize it in a clear and precise explanation or answer to the problem. the second one is how to manage relationship with people in order to understand what they want, get the informations you need to do it but also be able to see what's may no be obvious for them but needed to actually improve a process for example.
the next question was about my understanding of Finance, she told me consider that she don t know anything about it and explain to her the difference between Equity and Bond

a woman called me regarding the position, its a general interview with some technical questions. What are bonds? Whats is CDS?.....What do u know about bloomberg? Who are the competitors?...Interview went very well but then after a week i received an email that they will not pursue my application. The job was for a position in London...they wanted arab speakers. In all fairness, the interview was very general...i really dont know what happened though...the woman i spoke with told me that they will call me again regarding a second interview but then i received a rejection from HR...

I applied online and received email about a week later for a phone interview. questions were typical - he asked me about my resume experiences, my interest in the financial markets, why i chose bloomberg, why i chose that position specifically, etc. I haven't heard back yet (it's been 1 day).
