The first round was behavioral, followed by a technical interview focused on data modeling concepts and data quality considerations rather than coding. The second technical round involved exploratory data analysis using Python and pandas.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Find any issues in this dataset (picture of a dataset).
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Princeton, NJ) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process has 4 rounds: recruiter screen, 2 technical rounds and one final round with the HM.
The 1st technical round was about data modeling, taxonomies, data cleanliness and Leetcode.
The 2nd technical round focused on pandas, and using it to answer questions from a dataset. Statascratch should help, but you should also know the various functions of pandas by heart.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Inglaterra) in Oct 2025
Interview
Total 4 rounds. 1st is HR, 2nd & 3rd are Technicals, and final interview is a senior manager round. Mine was a graduate level role. 1st HR round was kind of a screening round with basic technicals and behavioural questions. 2nd round was a proper technical round with a focus on DSA, Data Modeling, Taxonomies(bloomberg loves this), Statistics, and little machine learning. 3rd round was mainly a Exploratory Data Analysis round using python and pandas. Final round was a behavioural round with the senior manager. All the interviewers were super awesome. It felt more like a discussion, rather than a interview. All they want is to see you collaborate with them. The HR was super fast with the updates as well. Totally a very smooth experience and I feel really grateful to all the people who interviewed me and coordinated my entire process. Really excited for my joining date.
