One round of coding challenges and two rounds of phone interviews. Overall very nice interviewers and process as the interviewers were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend interviewing with Google!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Google in Jan 2021
Interview
The process usually starts with an online assessment. It is followed by two back-to-back phone interviews. Once you've passed those stages you are put into the host matching stage where potential hosts reach out to candidates to see if they are a good fit for their team/project.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Croton-on-Hudson, NY) in Sep 2020
Interview
Very professional. The reviewer kept me calm and remained helpful and reassuring during the whole process. The questions asked were of course technical, but I found them of adequate difficulty, as It was google that I was applying for.
