I was interviewed virtually by the VP and an Associate SE for a Python-UI role. The interview started with some behavioural questions first and some questions on my CV. For the technical second part I was asked a bunch of fact-based Python question, but no coding assignment at all. I found it odd because for the questions they asked I could simply look up, so this does not at all align with my expectations. The interviewers also spoke English with a heavy accent. I do understand the role required Mandarin facility but I could hardly understand their English most of the time.
