I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG
Interview
Very dry, the interviewer wasn't very friendly. It was awkward most of the time.
The interviewer wasn't even looking at the right resume. She was confused.
Lost in translation perhaps..
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Tysons Corner, VA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Initial Pre-interview night and then followed by interview on campus the next day. You should talk to everyone at the pre interview night as it is a social event. If selected, 2nd round occurs at office at a super day with other service lines. Usually you will find out within one to two weeks tops.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at KPMG (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2011
Interview
Great internment. Asked tough but pertinent questions to the position, though no technical accounting questions. You meet directly with the directors you would be working with so it's a great way to get a feel for the fun and intelligent people you will be working for and with. There is definitely a lot of interaction with partners in the group and you are able to be proactive and take on a lot of responsibility. The group encourages you to work hard and be vocal about what you want in your career and does their best to usher you in that direction.
