I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling
Interview
I was interviewed by the VP of Marketing. The interview process was very professional, but not overwhelming or intimidating. The process consisted of two interviews. They were very straightforward, and informed me of the outcome immediately after both interviews. If the first interview goes well, they will ask you to come back for a second interview. Right after the second interview, they will let you know if they want to extend an offer.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (Rosemont, IL) in Oct 2014
Interview
The interview process featured a phone interview and then an in person interview. Both were pretty standard. In the phone interview it was simply a conversation. We talked about my prior experience and what I was looking for as well as what the company did and had to offer. After the phone interview I went in for the in-person interview. We talked for about 45 minutes. Half of the interview was geared at personal questions and what I was looking for and the other half was just personal questions about growing up designed to generate conversation allowing him to best determine what position I may be suited for. At the end he briefly described the role and offered the position. Some candidates have to do 2 separate interviews which I believe just breaks it up into 30 minute sessions roughly.
