The first step involved a standard online application form, which was then followed by a request to submit some additional documentation (still standard employment pre-screening and qualifications items). The next step involved an on-demand video interview, so to speak, using the Montage service which allows one shot recorded responses to various questions. This was pretty convenient as there is a smart phone App available for checking your status, you can even record your submissions on the App if you'd like. After that, I was invited to attend one of Verizon's "Super Day" events, where myself and other applications had the opportunity to meet both recent employees not dissimilar in age from us, as well as more senior team members. The in person interview was held during this event, among a few other introductory activities. The final selection was in presumably in a few phases of narrowing the pool of potential candidates, and all further contact came via email, included a potential offer for the position.
