Pros

Leadership within the organization. Trust among team members. The room to grow within such a large and diverse organization. A person can start as a tier one help desk and work their way in to the director position within that organization or transition to another group and become just as successful.

Cons

Communication, between corporate and clients based on terms of contracts. Sometimes the needs of the client outway the rights or integrity of the employee. Which is not in the best interest corporation long term. Corporate goals do not always consider protecting there best asset, the people that drive the company and make at&t what it is today.

Pros

When first starting, able to accrue 17 days vacation There are "lifers" who you can teach you aspects of the business you otherwise wouldn't be able to learn Solid Company

Cons

Unless you have a good manager, it is challenging to move to different jobs internally. You have to be "releasable" in order to pursue opportunities. ATT use to have really good benefits, and like all companies, they are slowly reducing them. Huge gap between CEO compensation and the regular employee. You could be laid off and then hired back as a contractor.
