Pros

Some nice colleagues, Paid OT offered, relatively safe job, Training , free (not so tasty) coffee, flexible start time,

Cons

In this company, you are treated like a number. They put the heaviest workload on you and you have absolutely no time to breath. When you are done with your own claims you get hit with claims from other colleagues or teams. Although I was only employed for doing claims in ONE language, after a few weeks I was hit with claims in so many other languages. They don´t care if you speak the language or not. Just get it done" "put it on google translate" are answers I got to hear. If you ask some of the more senior colleagues for help, they only put effort in helping you, when you say that you will mention their name on the case - so quality know that you did what they advised you to do. If you dont mention them, they dont care and put little to no effort in helping you - even if they are assigned to you as a buddy. I got so many cases back for doing what my buddy has told me to do which was wrong as I later found out. Also the chairs are all broken and probably 10-15 years old. When I started to work there I started having neck and back pain and look - now I am sitting on proper chairs with my new company and the pain vanished. I was only there 9 months and I saw 2 people (that were speaking their minds and are therefore "hard/uncomfortable to handle") being bullied until the point they quit the job. Well done. People skills are a foreign word to management and HR. Even when I finished it took HR 3 months, several emails, me saying I am getting a lawyer for them to only send me my P45!! I was on emergency tax with the new job for 3 months because they made such a big deal out of it. Promotions are mostly offered to irish people, especially when being friends with supervisors or otherwise involved with them if you know what I mean. ;) I hope this review is not being removed because I know for a fact that this is true! Also the benefits are not really benefits from my point of view. They pay a small amount for health insurance but you have to pay the rest. One mentioned benefit is 50% off allianz car insurance but they only insure you if you have an irish driving licence. So irish people do have better benefits (and better chances to be promoted) than foreigners. That is only my point of you. I am sure HR will deny all of it as they did in my exit interview. If you are used and like working like a robot then apply. If you do not care about work life balance - go ahead and apply. However if you do care how you are treated and if you have a social life that you appreciate I wouldnt recommend this job to you. The above are only my views and my opinion about the company. I know and I understand that work is work and you are there to do a job that you are paid for but I have worked in outsourcing companies and was treated better than by Allianz. Worldewide Care!
