Pros

looks good on your resume.

Cons

lack of corp wide unity. All the purchased companies that make up this giant, will not work as one.... there are parts of company directly competing with other parts of the same company... or taking food from 1 hand and putting in other hand...the net results is minus zero, if you consider both groups, man hours spent. many seniors thinking they that are above the law, for short term gains, but should think for longer term. off shoring may help bottom line for next several quarters, but will hurt 3 to 7, years out. It takes 2 or 3 Indans to replace 1 American

Pros

Compensation, Career Advancement. They pay very competitively to a college graduate looking for his/her first job and there are numerous networking opportunities. Lunch & Learn seminars help individuals network with senior management. The training you receive is very helpful as well. Team oriented environment helps one to get acquainted with fellow employees as well as learn in an efficient matter. There is a lot of flexibility and many co-workers have switched industries, workgroups, or locations.

Cons

Some employees are annoying. For example, they do not do any work, but just joke around the entire time.
