      After a year: I love my job, the people I work with and our mission!

      Pros

      • Collaborative: We work really well together - if you have an idea or a solution you want to implement, you can (and with minimal friction!). • The employees genuinely care about our mission and our community members! • We get to play with all the latest tech and have some incredibly talented and seasoned engineers and leaders helping improve our platform. • Coming from previous successful startups, we have a much better work/life balance and this is more recently being encouraged • We are helping a LOT of people and beyond just giving them some financial relief during these times - we have launched a number of other initiatives like help groups, rental assistance, etc.. • There are a lot of fun challenges to solve and we are growing! • Inclusive & Diverse: It's truly one of the first times I feel I can be my true authentic self - that is all!

      Cons

      • I personally do not have any specific cons. The company is growing rapidly (again) and with that always comes some natural friction. Also throw in a pandemic and things can get crazy at times (for most companies I imagine), but I feel we have pivoted well through this, learned a lot and are on an amazing trajectory

      Pros

      I recommend this company as it is a wonderful place to work and grow. People maintain good communication and work well as a team. Decent salary and good work life balance.

      Cons

      During covid, all of us are mostly remote, and it has hampered work life balance a bit.

      I love working at Earnin

      Pros

      My coworkers are the smartest and most talented group of people that I have worked with in my career, and I have worked for many companies. I absolutely love being part of a team that helps people get access to their money when they need it. The fast pace and enthusiasm is exciting! Each week we look for opportunities to improve our product and enhance what we offer to our community members. I've also seen first-hand what our product means to people through testimonials and in the Helpin Facebook group. The number one consideration I have in where I work is whether I am making a difference in the world, and I am making a difference at Earnin.

      Cons

      Every company has its own set of issues and Earnin is no exception, but the amazing culture really does make up for it. I once swore that I would never work in consumer financial services. I was even skeptical during the interview process because I assumed that every company in the space preyed on the economically disadvantaged (many of them do). It's humbling to admit that I was wrong, and that Earnin really does help to create a financial system that works for people. I know that sounds like I'm just toeing the company line, but I promise that I wouldn't still be here if I didn't believe in it.
