Pros

Other than time off there is nothing.

Cons

If you want to work like a slave, get no merit increase because management has now lied about pay bands, have your bonus cut in half to line the pockets of upper management after the company had record earnings, then this is the place for you to go work.

Pros

The pay is good after almost 20 years of working for the company which was part of GE most of that time. Flexible hours great but tend to be long. The need to burn the midnight oil. It's tough to come up with many pros, because the odds are stacked against the EP employees and we are at a severe disadvantage both from an employment and business stance.

Cons

This company is too compartmentalized and makes it next to impossible to get any task involving cross functional teams accomplished. The company is very closed minded to any suggestions unless you have a SVP or C in your job title. Brand recognition is another area we struggle at, we were well known and established in this field of business. Now it's who are you again? Last con is the health benefits, they are extremely expensive and doesn't cover much until you reach this high deductible.

We are working hard to create a culture that is open, collaborative and empowers employees to bring both ideas and concerns to their manager and to the senior leadership team. With nationwide rising costs of health insurance, employees have the flexibility of a low-deductible or high-deductible plan to choose the coverage that best fits their needs. Element offers a total compensation package of ancillary benefits and amenities including a 401 (k) plan, paid time off programs and fitness centers in our Sparks, MD and Eden Prairie, MN offices.

Pros

They used to have great health benefits, but now it's like 3x more than previously.

Cons

-Poor benefits compared to the old company that used to run this place. -They have your work long shifts with little payoff due to the transition from GE. It's been going on for over 2 years now and they still haven't figured it out. -They keep employees in the dark and then hit you with the news at the last second. -They posted a SIGN up at the fitness center saying they are firing the fitness staff. Unprofessional. -Poor communication. -CEO is out of touch with the rest of the company. They do things that even the CEO doesn't know about. -Upper management unclear when giving directions and take advantage of employees. -It's a get with it or find another job atmosphere. -A ton of great employees left or are leaving the company because it's very unorganized. -I can go on and on, but you get the point. Don't work here.
