Co-workers are friendly and care about their job and most are committed to success.

Cons

No consistency in policies within the same department (IT). Definitely a clique environment amongst leadership - blatantly obvious - if you aren’t part of the clique you may as well give up making any type of advancement or get any type of recognition. Flexibility of schedule is determined by individual manager instead of one overall policy. Our jobs are basically the same so it’s not a matter of determining need by role.

Good location, some great employees.

Cons

Poor senior management, unstable work environment. No chance to advance unless you're from the favoured legacy company. Management picks favourites based on legacy company history. No interdepartmental cooperation, Promotions given based on relationship and history with senior leadership rather than experience and ability. Horrible work environment with very low moral. President advises there will be no more layoffs and then layoffs continue.
