Pros

If there are open positions elsewhere, you're able to relocate easily enough, and you can also apply to the other companies in the Fedex family.

Cons

You're micromanaged to death. Upward mobility is nonexistent. Pay is abysmal. Management ignores your concerns in regards to work and safety. You're overworked, underpaid, and constantly pissed on by your company and customers.

Pros

-Decent Starting Pay -National Holidays Off -Clean Environment -Health Insurance Benefits for Full-Time Employment -Great Discounts on Domestic Shipping -Opportunities for Promotion

Cons

FedEx Office greatly lacks a strong management team from the regional office down to the retail offices. Almost everyday within the office center it's complete chaos and dysfunction. The office center is extremely unorganized and under staffed, while the employess are too under trained to properly deal with the excessive level of traffic from both shipping customers and print customers alike. FedEx Office lacks sincere vision, as they do not know if they want to be a great shipping station or an office print shop. This lack of vision leads to an early burnout amongst employees, which is why there is a high turnover throughout their retail stores. In addition to the employees becoming burnt out, there are customers that come into the center happy and become disgruntled, simply because they are just as confused about the lack information regarding our services. Customers often have to wait between 30 to 40 minutes for even one team member to assist them. The center management is often aloof and no where to be found during peak times, which adds even more unnecessary pressures towards the mental and physical states of the employees. These undue pressures aid in a constant, hostile work environment, that no one wants to work in on a daily basis.

Pros

there is little to write in this section except that there are Paid holidays here vacation time and sick time.

Cons

Cutting hours just to boot the centers performance to reach Presidents Club, Hourly wage is very very poor. merit increases dont keep pace with the amount of work and the cost of living. Unfair tenure recognition where new employees are being hired in at or close to the same rate as team members that been there alot longer. Respect is non-existant Paperless shipping is a joke, severely slowed down service. being called Consultants we dont make enough to have that title. This job is no different than a job that says "Would you like frys with that" constantly being audited and measured on performance. Little trust, alot fo team member bickering and verbal fighting. constant threat of being written up for silly things that dont impeed the flow of business. there is little incentive to grow or promote business where there is no reward for hard work for the team member only the center manager and management sees the reward which is highly unfair where funds go in to center team member relations fund
