I love most of the people I work with and I definitely love meeting and working with the clients in the banquet space. It's fun to make an event that is unique and special.

Cons

Too much cattiness and changing of policies. Things change from day to day no matter how good of an employee you are. Your best just isn't good enough.

Pros

Getting to meet lots of new people. Your co-workers are generally really great people as well. The training HGI provides is definitely good (but not great), for the job.

Cons

It really depends on your ownership group. My hotel went through 2 ownership groups in 3 years. One was good, the other was below average. It just really all depends.
