Great pay, benefits, and retirement plan. All of this is what locks you into the golden handcuffs.

Cons

If you are unfortunate to end up in a department with a bad manager your experience is going to be very difficult. A lot of back biting, favoritism, and chronic chaos with an overall sense of just being a number. HR and Compliance tend to side with management even though the yearly training encourages you to speak up against wrong doing and bad behavior.
