      Pros

      High growth business that could do great things. PayPal can do a lot and can be a market leader. The potential is there. The payments opportunities for PayPal are really huge and still relatively untapped. The compensation packages are pretty good. The management wants to do right by its people.

      Cons

      They don't care about doing good engineering. We have a bloated engineering organization that hires warm bodies. There is no focus on creating a solid product. Everything is turf war and political with the most decisions being based on what extend empires not what is the right thing to do.

      Pros

      new issues, fast-paced. Interesting work.

      Cons

      There is a lot of bloated management who only take care of themselves and their "favorites." About 20% of the people do 80% of the work (new version of 80/20 rule), but those aren't usually the people getting promoted because no one wants them to leave their jobs or nothing would get done.
