Pros

Reckitt celebrates every small achievement, management has an informal and approachable style and most people in middle management and below are collaborative and great to work with. A generous maternity leave policy (esp by US standards) is their biggest selling point!

Cons

Lack of clear, consistent direction from senior leadership and an inability to decide which business unit to keep and which to sell off results in constantly fluctuating priorities. No real oversight over senior leaders and absence of an empowered HR function means each employee's experience can be dramatically different and varies depending on who the manager happens to be. General confusion regarding values and how they translate into real action seems to prevail resulting in a toxic culture where everyone is only looking out for themselves and frequent blame game rears its ugly head the minute business results slow down (which they inevitably do after every good run)

Pros

A fast-paced challenging place to work where you will learn a lot in a short period of time. Some of the leadership teams are really good and act as role models they listen to you and respect you. Technology is on a boom with Gemini 2.0 and therefore you will learn a lot in a short period of time. Diversity is key in RB, which is a pro and even a con. Good Salary package is a Pro and a Con

Cons

Stressful Environment where you will end up doing everything. As they will end up giving you a lot of work but still when it comes to your yearly review you won't get any increment in your salary. Some of the leadership team cannot even thank you & say well done to you. Carrier progression is slow and salary structure is not understandable when you look at amount of work and your personal life gets affected. A lot of bullying happened throughout my journey in RB with not only me but with my fellow work peers and they all left because of this. As most of the team is been working in Global Markets before for more than 10 years if you don't know something they won't help you but bully or harass you for not knowing something. Lack of resources in every single project and you need to be cross-functional else more bully will happen. If you are looking for working life balance they will laugh at you since RB doesn't understand this word. Every Year RB spends a week to create Mental Health Awareness but honestly when this sort of humility, bullying & harassment happens anyone will start having mental issues that started happening to me. When you escalate this to HR, they will become your worst enemy. Even you escalate this sort of behavior they won't do anything but will play gutter games and you will end up losing your job. Most of the senior Leadership in RB is fro different parts of the world which is a pro but the issue is when they come to the UK they don't understand the cultural change and they end up treating people like donkeys.

Pros

Good growth opportunity and smart people ...Great PTO (4weeks). Move up fast because of high turnover

Cons

Projects are ALWAYS falling behind and you will be expected to pull a rabbit out of a hat to still launch on time. Very little work life balance. Timelines are not respected by management so everything becomes “outside of the process”. Everyone is overworked with low pay. Not worth sacrificing your family. Typical week is 50-60 hours. After 5 years, I had to put my children first and left to another CPG. Over 50% of your team will leave within 2-3 years.
