      It's okay if you just want a paycheck every week.

      Pros

      You get paid weekly The insurance is reasonably priced You get overtime most of the time The schedule is nice if you get on day shift

      Cons

      Not many opportunities for advancement No communication with supervisor or management. You can't talk, because you can't hear, no dipping, eating or anything in production area, same thing all day everyday, it's cold and it's just not enough money unless your working 7 days a week and it's still tough. People are rude and act like they know you when they know nothing about you

      Top Compensation Packages, Unquestionable Integrity; Merger Integration Issues A Challenge; Still a "Good Ol' Boys Club"

      Pros

      Excellent handle on manufacturing and a lot of discipline around production processes. Perspectives are changing as a result of recent merger...although it's forced and painful but welcome. Actively addressing systems issues.

      Cons

      Culture is still that of the "good ol' boys" of sales and mfg operations. Needs more women in leadership roles. Exec leadership perspective needs to widen and management needs to think more strategically in order to grow the business. The status quo is not longer the name of the game. Heavier investments in IT and HR are needed as is a more sophisticated and emphasized development program at the corporate level.
