Pros
I've worked at SoftwareONE for over 5 years and its been the best decision I've made in my career to date. The company has grown rapidly in a short space of time and is really exciting to be a part of a company which is going places and driving innovation. The company has a core focus on culture driven from the CEO down so its nice to feel important and have a generally happy place to work in (don't get me wrong its not always happy but happier than I've ever experienced before!). The company has let me run with ideas which has helped me feel empowered and more confident about my own ability where as in previous roles I was not given that freedom
Cons
The company has grown rapidly in a short space of time so I would be lying if I said that didn't come with its own frustrations, as structure is having to evolve all the time and some resources become stretched at times. On the whole though its exciting to be driving innovation than standing still. The company has aggressive growth targets having grown >40% every year for the last decade so sales people are used to having challenging targets. Where this has been scary at times it has made me be more successful and earn more
