Cons

Agree with other engineers, quality of life is gone, benefits being reduced to "align with industry", Managers are slow to respond to issues and make promises they never keep. Career growth is gone, and Lateral jobs moves seem nonexistent. Staff shortage seems prevalent is all areas, and very seldom do new employees get hired to help. I think Solventum could have been a great company, but the current track is downhill, the company is growing at the expense of the workers.

CEO to me is someone I’ll rally behind and the team he’s building below him. I buy into the values, mission, and vision.

Cons

Still functioning a bit like a start up in the sense that restricting still takes place so who owns what can sometimes feel muddy.
