Toxic leaders can be found throughout the departments. Spinoff pressures have only made that toxicity spread and create a fear culture where no and boundaries (tasks way outside scope of your position) cease to exist.
Largest issue present is individual team members often lead things and the managers have zero accountability. Growth even for those team leads is impossible because you’re too valuable to promote. This supports a culture of do nothing and your promotable versus lead various engagements carry the weight of those not doing the job and keep doing that for 20+ yrs. Also, I did indicate the salary is good but the performance review process and the goes above and beyond rating is a sick joke. You could be the best and be phenomenal but you won’t get promoted for 3 years and you can’t skip job grades even when your performing usually 2 grades above.
