Asian Heritage Month had a beat of its own across our offices. This year’s theme, “Beats That Bring Us Together,” celebrated the rhythms, stories and leadership styles that connect us across countries, generations, identities and experiences. Our Asian Leadership Network (ALN) employee resource group put together a playlist to help bring that theme to life. Here’s how our teams turned it up a notch: - Inland Empire filled the table with tea, lumpia, sushi, curry, dumplings, wontons, samosas and more. - Chicago mixed up build-your-own bibimbap bowls with the playlist in the background. - Charlotte shared lunch from Hawkers, an Asian-owned restaurant, before heading out for boba and matcha. - Phoenix brought Chamorro cuisine, island reggae, sungka and stories from Guam. - Houston turned the playlist into musical bingo with sushi handrolls from Norigami. - Silicon Valley paired the playlist with boba and Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken. - Baltimore/DC celebrated with music trivia highlighting Asian artists, delicious dishes from East Moon Asian Bistro and refreshing boba teas. ALN also hosted a members-only webinar with Alta Yen, head of Prologis Energy Solutions in the U.S., who shared personal stories and insights on leadership, building strong teams through different perspectives and creating impact in a fast-evolving space....Show more

For Women's History Month, our markets planted their own versions of the Leadership Empowerment Alliance @ Prologis' theme, "Women Shaping a Sustainable Future." Activities ranged from building Tree Walls filled with quotes, stories and small promises to taking time to "Taco Bout Sustainability." Other offices swapped seeds, participated in e-waste recycling and arranged repurposed, locally sourced flowers and bamboo to symbolize growth and nurturing what you plant. Our team in Singapore participated in LEAP's celebrations for the first time this year, the pivotal role Nyonya women have long played in preserving and passing down skills, traditions and knowledge across generations. A webinar brought LEAP members together with Allison Schweizer, Director of Global Energy & Sustainability Programs, who shared practical insights on bringing sustainability into everyday decisions, followed by a live Q&A. LEAP members also supported Days for Girls International, an organization expanding access to women’s health education and resources for girls in communities worldwide. Increased access helps reduce missed school days and opens the door to more opportunities ahead....Show more
