I explained that I researched the position and was able to see the qualifications and requirements fit with my experience. I did not work in the direct type of position but was able to explain how my previous positions show my willingness to learn new duties and responsibilities. How I was able to move from one line of work (quality inspection) to auto inspection with limited training time to allow me to get into production in a quick time frame.
