What about them is difficult? I would try to see things from their point of view and I would be very tactful when communicating with them. Overall I wouldn't let it get to me and I wouldn't let if affect my job performance. I would seek to get a higher up involved if what this difficult manager or superviser was doing was illegal or unsafe or against corporate policy, but otherwise I would just do my best to get along with them and focus on my work. They might just be having an off day. I can sense whether or not something is serious and whether or not I should get involved. As a rule, I always treat everyone with kindness, understanding, and respect.
