Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Graphic Designer with a refined eye for typography, layout, and visual storytelling. This individual will play a key role in bringing books from manuscript to finished product, ensuring every title meets the highest standards of design excellence and production quality.

The ideal candidate understands both the creative and technical sides of publishing and thrives in a deadline driven environment. A strong sense of creativity is essential, with the ability not only to design compelling interiors but also to conceptualize and execute standout book covers and visually engaging advertising campaigns that support each title’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce interior layouts and creative cover designs for books across multiple genres, ensuring each title has a strong visual identity
• Conceptualize and develop advertising campaigns and promotional graphics that support book launches and marketing initiatives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict quality control and meeting production deadlines
• Oversee image selection and placement, typography, color correction, and all graphic elements
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to layout, fonts, file setup, and print specifications
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to established house style guidelines across books and marketing materials

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional experience in book or magazine design within a publishing environment
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
• Extensive knowledge of print production processes, file preparation, and color management
• 100 percent fluent in English, with excellent writing and speaking skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality

• Experience working with high-volume publishing schedules
• Ability to interpret manuscripts and translate narrative tone into compelling visual design
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight production deadlines

This role is ideal for a seasoned production professional who combines technical expertise with creative excellence, understands the complexities of publishing, and consistently delivers refined, visually impactful work that elevates every title and campaign.
