The Electronics Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving electronic systems and components. This role requires applying advanced engineering principles to support product development, production, and continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer works cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure products meet performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic circuits, assemblies, and systems for commercial or industrial applications
Support product lifecycle activities including concept, design, prototyping, testing, and production release
Conduct circuit simulations and analyze performance using engineering tools and software
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and electronic issues in existing products
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product integration
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and reports
Perform validation and verification testing to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, cost reduction, and manufacturability
Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of relevant experience in electronics design or product development
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Eagle)
Proficiency in testing and measurement tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, etc.)
Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing or electronics production environments
Knowledge of industry compliance standards (UL, CE, IEC, ISO)
