About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and thoughtful Program Manager to join our Ethics & Compliance Global Programs team. In this role, you'll help protect Uber, our customers, and our communities by fostering a culture of ethical decision-making. You will manage our global intake process for employee disclosures and requests, serving as a key touchpoint for employees navigating ethical questions. Through clear guidance and positive interactions, you'll help employees understand their responsibilities and build trust in our Ethics & Compliance program. This is a unique opportunity to play a meaningful role in evolving our global program that helps Uber consistently Do the Right Thing.
What the Candidate Will Do
Manage the intake, review, and response process for employee disclosures, including conflicts of interest, business courtesies, and charitable donations.
Translate compliance policies, guidelines, and regulatory expectations into clear, practical guidance for employees.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Policy, HR, and other partners to obtain appropriate reviews and approvals.
Deliver a high-quality, respectful, and solutions-oriented experience in every employee interaction.
Balance speed and accuracy while managing complex, high-volume workflows.
Conduct regular quality assurance on AI-powered chatbot responses to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Support broader Ethics & Compliance Global Programs initiatives, including communications and training.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in compliance, policy management, risk management, legal, or business advisory functions
Bachelor's Degree
Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, with confidence and flexibility to adapt in rapidly changing environments.
Professional working proficiency in Portuguese is a big plus!
Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential matters.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across functions.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
