Resumen: Is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by developing, implementing, and improving production processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, troubleshoot production issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Mains Responsibilities:

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Investigate and resolve production-related issues using root cause analysis methodologies.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity assessments.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational objectives.
• Assist in the introduction of new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor process performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and productivity improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Participate in process validations and equipment qualifications.
• Generate and present reports related to manufacturing performance metrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 0 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or a related field.
• Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, etc.).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and process capability studies.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other engineering software.
• Basic project management skills.
