As our Client Relations Rep, your key responsibilities (NOT LIMITED TO):
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries related to freight forwarding, shipment status, and logistics solutions.
- Cargo Processing: Coordinate and manage the booking and documentation of shipments, including air, sea, and land freight, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Problem Resolution: Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, such as delays, damages, or customs issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Communication: Liaise with carriers, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. Keep customers informed of shipment status and any changes to the delivery schedule.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns, offering solutions, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the shipping process.
- Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency of freight forwarding operations and customer service processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in customer service within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Cargo wise Experience is plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, customs regulations, and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
