The Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic, strategic, and results-oriented Director of Culinary and Procurement to join our Americas Performance Hub (APH) Operations team, supporting the Latin America and Caribbean region. This highly visible role sits at the intersection of culinary excellence, operational performance, and strategic sourcing, partnering closely with hotel teams, brand leaders, owners, and key suppliers to drive exceptional guest experiences and business results.
The Director will lead initiatives that enhance food and beverage performance, optimize procurement strategies, and identify opportunities for innovation, cost efficiency, and quality improvement. The role will influence regional culinary direction, support new hotel openings and conversions, and champion best practices that align with Hyatt's standards while recognizing the unique needs of diverse markets throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Role
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a broad range of stakeholders across Food & Beverage, Brands, Design, Operations, Standards, Development, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in shaping Hyatt's culinary vision and procurement strategies throughout the region, helping to elevate guest experiences, strengthen brand positioning, drive operational excellence, and deliver sustainable value to our hotels.
You will lead initiatives that balance culinary innovation, brand integrity, cost optimization, and supply chain effectiveness. You will work closely with hotels, regional leadership, and corporate partners to develop and implement programs that support Hyatt's growth while meeting the unique needs of diverse markets across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Experience Required:
10+ years of progressive experience in culinary operations, food & beverage, procurement, supply chain, hospitality operations, or a related business function.
Demonstrated experience leading regional or multi-unit initiatives within the hospitality, restaurant, foodservice, or related industries.
Proven success in developing and implementing culinary, sourcing, procurement, or operational strategies that drive business performance and enhance guest experiences.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Brands, Design, Finance, Supply Chain, and Food & Beverage.
Strong understanding of supplier management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and cost optimization.
Experience supporting diverse markets across Latin America and the Caribbean preferred.
Fluency in English and Spanish required
Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications in procurement, supply chain, culinary arts, or hospitality management.
Experience with procurement, sourcing, inventory, and business management systems- Birchstreet E- Procurement.
Experience within the hospitality, foodservice, or restaurant industry, particularly in a regional or multi-unit environment.
