Digital Project Manager

As a Digital Project Manager within Zurich Cover‑More’s Rapid Learning Lab, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of digital optimisation and content initiatives across our global travel insurance business.

This is a high‑impact, coordination‑intensive role embedded within a globally distributed team. You will lead cross‑functional workstreams, align onshore and offshore stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role suits someone with strong project discipline, digital delivery experience, and the communication skills to bridge time zones and cultures effectively.

What You’ll Do

Project Planning & Delivery

• Lead cross‑functional, onshore and offshore teams to plan and deliver multiple digital optimisation and content initiatives
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and dependencies across geographically dispersed teams
• Own the day‑to‑day operational delivery of concurrent projects, ensuring progress remains on track
• Estimate project effort and costs in collaboration with internal teams and third‑party vendors
• Facilitate clear definition of project goals, scope, and deliverables from initiation through to delivery
• Create and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, agendas, minutes, and business requirements

Stakeholder Communication & Alignment

• Facilitate clear, structured communication across stakeholders in multiple geographies and time zones
• Act as the primary point of coordination between offshore teams, onshore IT, vendors, and business partners
• Demonstrate strong asynchronous communication practices to keep distributed teams informed and unblocked
• Adapt communication approach and meeting cadence to accommodate global time zone differences
• Chair cross‑functional meetings, ensuring decisions are captured and actions are followed through

Risk, Issues & Performance Management

• Identify, track, and report risks, issues, impediments, and dependencies impacting delivery
• Monitor project performance, milestones, and outcomes, implementing corrective actions where required
• Coordinate problem‑solving across teams and recommend practical, delivery‑focused solutions

Optimisation & Digital Delivery

• Provide project leadership for digital marketing, optimisation, and application development initiatives
• Partner with the Rapid Learning Lab and optimisation tools teams to improve content generation, review, approval, and execution processes
• Coordinate optimisation roadmaps at individual business‑partner level, including integrated and non‑integrated partners
• Ensure all outputs comply with local regulatory, legal, financial, and brand requirements
• Maintain adherence to Zurich and partner compliance and approval processes across all optimisation activity

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement through project management best practices and lessons learned
• Contribute to the development of standards, templates, and ways of working for a fast‑moving global team
• Share knowledge and insights across onshore and offshore teams to build collective capability

What You’ll Bring

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Digital Marketing, Project Management, or a related field
• 2+ years’ experience in project management, ideally within a multinational organisation
• Recognised project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent); Agile experience is a plus
• Demonstrated success working with offshore or globally distributed teams
• Experience in travel, insurance, or financial services is advantageous

Technical & Domain Skills

• Proven familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing platforms
• Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience managing digital optimisation or A/B testing initiatives is an advantage

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud tools (e.g. AEM, Target, Analytics)
• Experience delivering projects with technology‑integrated and non‑integrated partners
• Understanding of multi‑market regulatory and compliance requirements
