What We're Looking For:
As a Master Data Coordinator II, you will be the guardian of our customer data accuracy, directly impacting our enterprise operations, compliance, and customer experience. You will govern customer master data across our core systems, solve complex data issues, and ensure our order-to-cash processes run smoothly. This role is for you if you treat clean data as a critical deliverable and thrive on ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Create, update, validate, block/unblock, and deactivate customer master data records in source and MDM systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent ERP/CRM/MDM platforms) in line with defined data standards and SLAs.
- Process master data service requests and tickets accurately and within agreed turnaround times; triage, prioritize, and escalate complex or non-standard cases as needed.
- Perform routine and ad-hoc data quality checks, identify anomalies, and execute remediation (deduplication, standardization, enrichment, and hierarchy maintenance).
- Investigate and resolve duplicate records; apply merge and survivorship decisions according to governance rules.
- Validate customer data against external reference sources (tax/VAT IDs, DUNS, sanctions/denied-party screening, address validation) and internal policies.
- Support compliance and control activities, including SOX-relevant controls, audit evidence requests, and segregation-of-duties requirements.
- Maintain and update master data documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve data issues, support customer onboarding, and unblock downstream order-to-cash processes.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives, system enhancements, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for MDM/ERP/CRM changes.
- Generate and review data quality reports and dashboards; track and report on KPIs and SLA performance.
- Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to Coordinator I / junior team members, including peer review of their work where required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in master data management, data administration, data governance, or a related data operations role.
- Hands-on experience with at least one ERP, CRM, or MDM platform (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP, Salesforce, Informatica/Reltio MDM).
- Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to data accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, basic data manipulation).
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to independently manage a queue of requests and prioritize against SLAs.
- Experience specifically with customer master data, including hierarchies, deduplication, and merge/survivorship processes.
- Familiarity with data quality and reporting tools (Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, or similar).
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX) and audit support.
- Exposure to M&A data integration, system migrations, or large-scale data remediation projects.
- Additional language skills relevant to the region(s) supported.
- Data quality & accuracy mindset — treats clean data as the deliverable, not an afterthought.
- Analytical problem-solving — investigates root causes rather than just clearing tickets.
- Process & control orientation — follows governance rules and respects segregation of duties.
- Stakeholder collaboration — communicates clearly across business and technical teams.
- Ownership & time management — manages a workload independently and meets commitments.
