We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.
Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Architect, design, and develop digital electronic circuits and systems for automotive applications, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, memory interfaces (DDR, Flash), communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, LIN, SPI, I2C, I2S, A2B), power management solutions, and digital signal processing components, SMPS design.
Schematic Capture and PCB Layout: Create detailed schematics using ECAD tools (e.g., Zuken) and collaborate with PCB designers to ensure optimal layout for signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability.
Component Selection and Validation: Research, select, and qualify electronic components based on performance requirements, cost, availability, and automotive-grade specifications (e.g., AEC-Q standards). Perform component-level testing and validation. Alternate component analysis, validation and selection.
Hardware Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute hardware acceptance test (HAT) plans, perform functional testing, signal integrity analysis, EMC /EMI testing, and environmental testing. Utilize high end oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment to identify and resolve hardware issues.
System Integration and Validation: Collaborate with software, mechanical, safety and system validation teams to integrate hardware components into the overall automotive system.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive hardware documentation, including design specifications, schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), Worst case analysis, Electronic simulation report, test reports, and validation plans.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure designs adhere to relevant automotive industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., ISO 26262), OEM standards and EMC /EMI requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in digital electronics and automotive technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and design optimization.
Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex hardware-related issues that arise during development, testing, or production.
