Objective of the position:
Lead and establish strategies with regulatory compliance standards in safety, hygiene and health, managing and coordinating activities , policies and regulations,developing plans and programs , supervising the execution of the technical -administrative processes that make up the area , in order to guarantee the effectiveness and the efficiency of accident and/or occupational disease prevention operations, in accordance with the provisions and principles issued by the regulatory entities on the matter.

The position scope will be for Saltillo site.

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded): +2 years of experience in:

• Leading teams or managing projects related to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).

• High Domain in Regulations of: STPS, OSHAS

• NFPA and all those applicable in Occupational Health

• Knowledge and experience in hazard identification methodologies and risk assessment techniques.

• English level:B2

• Spanish: C1

Academic Knowledge: Engineering, Administrative or Chemical Degree

Main Functions:

• Establish structures for the administration of Health, Safety and Hygiene processes both for the company and joint and several liability for suppliers in the plant, validate their applicability, follow them once they are determined and follow up on compliance by third parties as applicable.

• Establish strategies that guarantee compliance with Government and Daimler Truck regulations; likewise the application of these in the company.

• Establish management strategies for Medical and Health services that guarantee services according to the required shifts, number of clients; permanently maintaining efficiency projects in service and costs.

• Develop measures and indicators of Safety, Hygiene and Health in order to generate use of information for the execution of action plans and improvement of managed processes.

• Carry out analyzes and diagnoses of processes that can directly impact the plant: Safety, Hygiene and Behaviors.

• Develop, establish plans and programs for development and knowledge in Safety, Hygiene and Health, focused on compliance with Government Standards and Systems and those applicable.
