Is your company recognized as one of the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award Winners – a list of the 50 Best Places to Work, or did your company get honored as one of Top 25 Companies for Work-Life Balance, or maybe as one of the Top 10 Companies with the Best Business Outlook? While we do our best at Glassdoor to let job seekers know about what it’s like to work at more than 250,000 companies, we often get asked how employers can make the most of these achievements. The Glassdoor team is here to help! Below we’ve gathered a few examples of how various companies have showcased Glassdoor award wins to increase visibility of their employer brand. Thank your employees! Don’t forget to thank employees – they’re the reason you’re company has been recognized! Several of the reports Glassdoor issues are based on employee- or job candidate generated feedback. Take a moment to write up a company-wide email of appreciation and let them know that the reviews employees have provided on Glassdoor are what led to this company win. Update your social networks Twitter, Facebook Google+ and LinkedIn are all great channels to share company news like this. On Twitter and LinkedIn, be sure to include the @Glassdoor Twitter handle where we’ll be talking about you and making noise about the list you’re on. Check our tweets and Facebook posts to see if there is a list-specific hashtag you can use to join the conversations about this list or award. For example, #BestPlacetoWork2014. See examples below. Orbitz uses Twitter to highlight the company’s win as a Top 10 Travel Company to Work For in 2013. pic-1-orbitz1 Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg uses…wait for it…Facebook to congratulate Mark Zuckerberg as the top rated CEO according to employees. fbook-2 Update your profile on Glassdoor Is your awards and accolades section full of your recent wins? Sign up for or log in to your  Glassdoor Free Employer Account, click on the employer center followed by company profile and you’ll be able to add in your own awards. For further details on how to add awards, visit the Glassdoor blog and below, see how Chevron, an Employee’s Choice Winner four years running, shares these wins. chevron-3 Issue a press release Make it official and spread the news via press release. One great benefit of a press release is that when people do a Google search on your company, this will be one of the results that could pop up. Read recent news announcements from companies like Northwestern MutualTata Consultancy Services and The US Navy to see how they talk about their Glassdoor award wins. navy-4 Tell Your Job Candidates Make sure this news is readily available to your audience through many sections of your own website including your career site, press room, awards page and even your homepage. Citrix recently shared Glassdoor news via the awards and accolades section of the company’s newsroom, and ReachLocal boasts a Best Place To Work Badge on its career page. reachlocal-5
