The people on your marketing team can make a big difference in your company’s level of recognition—and directly affect sales. But how do you attract candidates with the right mix of skills who can help take your company to the next level?
Marketing roles have become increasingly analytical and strategic as companies harness the myriad digital marketing techniques and tools to expand brand awareness. According to a 2015 study by McKinley Marketing Partners, 50% of marketing jobs required some aspect of digital marketing, 40% required some aspect of strategic thinking or analytic skills, and 28% required both digital and strategic marketing experience. “Digital marketing” is the 7th most popular job search term on Glassdoor for marketing-related roles. “Digital marketing manager” lands at number 9.
