"Glassdoor is a tool through which all our employees can own, manage and actively provide feedback on ‘life at Talend’,” McGuire said. “I don’t own Glassdoor and the marketing team doesn’t own Glassdoor, which is where we differ from what you might see at larger corporations. At Talend, we don’t attempt to ‘taint’ Glassdoor through control. We want it to be truly reflective of our employees’ feelings and experiences."
Members of the company, from all tiers, examine reviews, and absorb the feedback to change company culture. In fact, Talend’s senior leadership team frequently reads through and sometimes even responds directly to Glassdoor reviews, including our CEO, Mike Tuchen.
“Being a smaller company, Talend’s use of Glassdoor really embodies one of the tool’s core missions, which is to enable each Talend employee to have a voice,” Mcguire said.
