"(USA - Full-Time - Single) Two types of plans offered, but most people choose the high-deductible one called gHIP which comes with an HSA. Although run through Anthem, they are also in-network to all Blue Cross providers.
gHIP costs $0/month for employees. The deductible is $1600. Google gives you $1000/year in your HSA account to help pay for it. Once deductible is met, there is co-insurance until the annual out-of-pocket maximum of $2600. That means the most you can possibly pay for healthcare in a year out-of-pocket, no matter how much you use it, is $1600 ($2600 OOP Max - $1000 HSA funding).
There are on-site Anthem reps at major offices, a health concierge to help with insurance issues, and I have yet to have them deny coverage for any service or medication, including medications previous plans have refused to cover.
Google also offers on-site doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists at major offices.
HSAs are also a great way to save additional money for retirement expenses.
By far the best health plan I've ever been on.
