I applied online. I interviewed at AECOM in Jun 2022
Interview
Applied for the position online, did an online assessment, together with a recorded video interview. The process was very quick. Received an email saying the application was being process and the hiring team will contact me for a face to face interview if I get through. Waited for a few months, no news so I contacted the hiring team, said they were still processing as they had a lot of applicants. Only heard back from them a few weeks later. Didn't get through to do the face to face interview

Interview
After submitting the application, I was sent a link for behavioral and analytical questions. I had to do that in 48 hours. Got a call from AECOM within a week for an in-person interview at Aecom Brisbane in Fortitude Valley. Interview panel had 3 people - 2 engineers who started out through the grad rogram 4 to 5 years ago and work with the company. The mainly answer your questions about the company and one senior project manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They will go through your entire resume and ask questions. Be prepared to explain atleast one of the projects/ researches you've done in detail. A few situational questions like why did you choose AECOM, what do you want from the job, where do you see yourself in the future, areas of interest in electrical engineering and why, when can you start. A few technical questions as well. My field was energy within electrical engineering. So some of the questions were based on that - what voltage is used in Australia, transmission voltages, questions related to solar energy as my research was based on that, what will be some challenges faced as we transition into renewable energy.

Interview
The interview process is a one-way video recorded interview which is very similar to the Hirevue interviewing system used by Telstra. However, you will have only 1 chance to answer each question. There were no additional trials given to allow you to record a new video submission
