AECOM Intern interview questions

I applied to the building engineering business line of AECOM. After referral from one of the HR personnel, I was invited to the London office for an interview. After the usual self introduction and education background, he asked me what I was learning at university and how that can be apply in AECOM. He then gave me a presentation on the projects they are working on as well as the arrangement if I was offered an internship.

The interview was a relaxing one. For the intern position, I was interviewed by two senior engineers. They were very friendly. It started by brief introduction about myself, followed by some work experiences. They asked about how I had improved myself from the work experiences. Later, the technical questions came in. They asked about some conceptual questions and philosophy about building design, i.e. the design of reinforced concrete beam and steel beam. The whole length of the interview was about 30 minutes.
