Interview
1st step: Job application online
2nd step: Online situational judgement test to assess candidate suitability with AECOM.
3rd step: 15 minute telephone interview to judge candidate before getting invited for an office interview.
4th step: interview at the AECOM office in London consisted of three separate interviews. A case study, a presentation, and a 1:1 with the recruiter.
Online application, Video-call interview, Online Assessment, Face-to-Face Interview, and then upon completion of these steps an offer. Found the process nice, and better than similar companies who mandate solo video interviews and assessments before they've reviewed your application.

Interview
The atmosphere in that initial interview was remarkably vibrant, radiating a contagious energy that instantly shifted the tone from a standard assessment to a genuine, professional dialogue. It is rare to find a panel that prioritises mutual discovery over rigid interrogation, yet this session felt like a collaborative exchange that allowed me to project confidence naturally.
One interviewer’s decision to recount his own trajectory, starting in the very position I was applying for, provided a concrete roadmap of the professional growth possible within the firm. This was perfectly balanced by the second interviewer, whose formidable experience was coupled with a grounded, authentic warmth that made the high-level site realities feel accessible and inspiring.
Relaxed interview with two managing members from the team? The interviewers were quite friendly and basically wanted to know how keen you were to get the role as well as whether you would fit for the role. it lasted for about half an hour.
