I already worked in the operations part of the business so the interview process was atypical. I spoke on the phone with the hiring manager a few times. When the hiring manager was comfortable with me personally, I attended a panel interview with about four people and had a conversation with the number two leader of the division.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AECOM in Sep 2021
Interview
Whole process consisted of 3 interviews with people I may be working under. Interviews felt more like conversations, which was nice. The interviews were about a few days to a week apart. The downside was that I was not made aware I was not given an offer until a few weeks later after constantly emailing the recruiter and hiring manager. I finally decided to call the recruiter myself since I had still not received a response. They told me they were going to look for other candidates who were a better fit for the role, and gave zero feedback on why they decided not to go with me. The interview process was very misleading as well, since it was indicated many times that they were interested in hiring me. For the future- please don’t lead on your candidates, and please provide proper feedback to those who don’t get hired.
