I was informed of an opening for an intern by a current employee at AIG. I forwarded my resume to him and was later contacted on the phone by the Human Resources department to set up an interview date with members of the Tax department. I traveled in to the 70 Pine St location and interviewed one on one with tax managers from both the Domestic and International Tax Groups. Afterwards, I was escorted to the 80 Wall St location to interview with Human Resources. During all three of the interviews I was asked about my education, future goals, and contributions I had made to my previous workplace. Everyone in the tax department seemed very friendly and welcoming.
