Asked competency questions mainly and why I wanted to work for AIG. The competency questions were mainly based around problem-solving and organisation. They asked for examples ideally from work experience
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AIG (Manchester, Inglaterra) in Jan 2023
Interview
Had an initial teams meeting a few weeks before and was invited to an in person interview. Both managers who interviewed me were very friendly and made me feel at ease. The questions were very random which confused me a little. Hadn't heard anything for almost 2 weeks so reached out to the company to which someone rang me and explained they’d chosen someone else and given me feedback. I think it’s unfair for companies to interview candidates where they take time off work etc to discuss the job role and for interviews for them to not reach out with an interview outcome. I don’t believe if i hadn’t have emailed them first i would have gotten a response and would have been left unknowing to their response. I also think it would have been nicer for the managers who interviewed to have contacted me with the feedback after I had reached out as I found some of the feedback they have gave to be extremely unfair.
