Awful, hated all of the process for applying. Especially for a retail assistant. Asking too much and didn’t even get a response. Even after being told in the interview how great I was haha.

Question 1
Something about eggs spilling on the floor. I answered all questions perfectly even the interview said that but didn’t get a response when they say they would contact me in 2-3 days .
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Leeds, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Easy interview, just a few question about why you want the role etc with some scenarios to test judgment. Trial shift is just stocking shelves, helps if you know the store already
Just the basic 15-30 minute sit-down of your resume and who you are as a person with the manager, followed by a virtual team's call with an Aldi executive. Very friendly and welcoming, just show you care about the role and their values and you should be good.
