The hiring process at ALDI takes an average of 5 days when considering 1 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Cajero had the quickest hiring process (on average 5 days), whereas Cajero roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 5 days).
Group interview waiting in line very quick there was about 12 interviewers chopping the line down quickly. 5 to 15 min convo each candidate. Not really sure but some get selected same day and some are put on hold or not selected

Question 1
Availability, work history, do u have any questions for them
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Atherstone, England) in Mar 2024
Interview
It was not that personal. 1st stage application form, 2nd stage video recording of yourself answering pre listed questions (still no human on the end of it) 3rd stage was a group interview (Virtual) with 4 other people that lasted about an hr and a half. They give you a scenario and 6 candidates and a time limit and as a group had to work out who was the best candidate for the role and give reasons. the 2nd half of this stage was to give a presentation. I put about 6-7 hours worth or prep in total into this interview process and got a standard rejection email a few days later with no feedback at all, so very impersonal

Question 1
How to improve candidate pipeline in a tight labour market
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Blackburn, England) in Mar 2024
Interview
It is a three-step process. There are a set of questions to answer online. If you pass this you get an in-store assessment. For me, this was a one-to-one casual chat with the area manager. If you pass this, there is an interview.
