Applied online was a lengthy process with scenarios etc. Then 2 weeks later received email for interview with Regional Manager which lasted about half an hour. Told me about the company etc. It was really relaxed and friendly plus a simple timed maths test. Received an email about 5 hours later offering a 2 hour work trial in store. This went well and they took my uniform size and signed lots of health and safety forms and everything was quite positive. Waited about 5 weeks to be told I had passed everything but there were no vacancies!

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI in Jul 2016
Interview
I filled in the online application form which was quite a bit longer than i expected, multiple choice questions centered on what you would do in certain situations, maths and customer service. Then there are questions where they ask you to describe your own experiences in team work, experience and working under pressure. I ticked my availability in the app form as nights only however when i was invited to the individual assessment where i had to travel 40 minutes to get to, they then told me they didnt offer nights in our area so that irritated me slightly, however due to a change in circumstances i could do more hours during the day so i continued with the interview. It seemed to go well, the woman interviewing me was lovely, down to earth and encouraging. I then received an email 2 days later inviting me to an experience day in 2 weeks time. Overall a simple interview for a basic job.
