The hiring process at ALDI takes an average of 5 days when considering 1 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Cajero had the quickest hiring process (on average 5 days), whereas Cajero roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 5 days).
I drove past the store and there was a sign outside stating that they were hiring. I stopped in and got a resume, filled it out and dropped it off the next day. I was called back two days later, and sat down with the store manager for a brief interview. Was informed of job duties, and expectations, then was set up with an interview with the district manager. Had my interview with the DM and was asked the "basic" interview questions, and was offered a position.

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in the company in 5 years?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at ALDI in Sep 2013
Interview
Applied through school website. Attended 2 hour information session prior to interview that was entirely focused on Aldi - gave me a good sense of the company. The interview was only 20 minutes long - focused around your resume and asking questions based on that. Interviewer was extremely hard to read and didn't use many facial expressions which made it awkward.

Difficult interview
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Middleton, Greater Manchester, North West England, England) in Oct 2013
Interview
Online application then invited by letter to assessment center. Assessment centre started with short introduction with 3 facts about yourself, then quick Q&A they want you to have a lot of knowledge of aldi's products and business model. Then all given 5 mins for a 3 min presentation on anything (couldnt be one of your previously given facts). People did presentations on placement years, jobs and volunteering. One person in our group came with laminated certificates and sat smiling in the prep time, the point of the exercise is to see how you cope under pressure don't look over prepared. Then we had a raft survival task sorting individually priorities items then discuss and come to group conclusion. We then had the fun part of the numeracy, verbal reasoning and personality tests.
